Semana Santa

I've always liked the aura during holy week. Mainit pero mahangin. Saan ka man magpunta, walang tao... tahimik, peaceful... kaya masarap mag muni-muni tungkol sa mga bagay-bagay sa buhay. At masarap din matulog... lalo na kung MROD k...

Sa isang round table discussion, habang naghihintay kay Dr. JTG, na-bring up ang topic na "Anong gagwin sa holy week". Dahil sa bagong ayos ang aming conference room at bagong bili ang aming sound system, nag suggest si Apol ng misa sa palm sunday, nagkaroon ng discussion kung ano ang activities for the week at eto na ang kinalabasan ng usap-usapan:
Palm Sunday - celebrate holy mass with matching palaspas at the conference room
Holy Tuesday - film showing: Jesus Christ Superstar(suggested by sister)

Maundy thursday - film showing: Jesus of Nazareth starring Robert Powell
- followed by washing of the feet courtesy of Jeff de Jesus using last resident's
night costumes and the water dispenser
Good Friday - film showing: the Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson
- followed by pasyon courtesy of Tin; for the benefit of the overstaying
CD patients
Black Saturday - film showing: The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston
- Salubong Ala MROD, Dress Tin up as an angel and hang her over the
balcony habang kumakanta-kanta
Easter Sunday - Make your rounds early and be the first to look for those easter eggs
- hidden amongst the patients and their beds... don't forget rm 225...
